G8 Seat Trim Hook Repair Kit

Do you have the dreaded broken seat trim hook that allows the seat trim on the outboard side to droop or flap around? Not anymore! These little brackets slide into the cored out section of the injection molded seat bracket. Once the broken portion of the seat trim is trimmed off, these brackets sandwich the old tab creating a new hook that is significantly stronger than the original. The sandwich brackets utilize brass threaded inserts and stainless steel screws even in the physical hook portion. 

 

3 holes need to be drilled, the flat bracket can be used as a template when referencing the photos below. The original seat hook should only be trimmed until the printed bracket fits neatly into it. Sold as a pair for both sides. Hardware included.
